Adding an instrument to a track starts with getting the rhythm right.

The work.

I collaborated on a music-inspired prototype. The team used Python and Essentia to detect tempo, generate beats, and blend them into uploaded audio.

The result.

A working audio experiment centered on beat timing and synchronization.

How it works

I collaborated on a hackathon audio-generation prototype motivated by my interest in music. The team explored an upload-and-instrument workflow, using Python and Essentia to detect tempo, generate beats, and merge them with a track.

Estimate tempo from the uploaded audio before adding beats.
