The idea.

A diary can do more than store entries. We explored conversations that bring earlier reflections back into view.

The work.

I contributed to the interactive React interface and connected the memory-aware conversation to the full-stack diary experience.

The result.

A working diary prototype with semantic memory, date-based retrieval, and daily reflection.

How it works

I contributed to the full-stack diary experience, including the interactive interface and integration of the memory-aware conversational flow. The team combined a React frontend, FastAPI service, Google GenAI, and ChromaDB semantic retrieval.

Connected the expressive journal interface to the conversational flow, including disappearing-input interactions.
The team used semantic retrieval and date-based lookups to bring earlier entries into context.
Daily summaries and a habit view offered another way to revisit a day beyond the conversation.
